I grow Pulsatilla in several shades of pink and purple, as well as in white. These plants seems to like well-drained soil and usually bloom earlier than this. They self-seed around a bit, but I welcome the seedlings and transplant them around the flowerbeds. These pink ones have been pointing their heads downward for the last week, possibly out of protest at the lack of sunny skies. I feel their pain.

Oh, these are beautiful. I have some of our native pasque flowers and I have a red variety. I have seen them seed out in other gardens, but no luck so far in mine. I would love to have this pink variety for my garden.
Very pretty. I'm not familiar with this plant. Maybe it doesn't do well in our area.
Love that beautiful pink colour. I have some purple and some reddish ones. The fluffy seedheads are interesting, too. They remind me of Dr. Suess's truffula trees.
The pink are beautiful! My neighbour has some purple in a front bed and I am so impressed with the length of the blooming time. A great spring addition to the garden!
