It's Snowing!

We're not alone in waking up to snow on the ground today. More snow is falling as I make this post, and the morning weather report indicated that most of the province is getting snow today.

I hope everybody has their bulbs in by now! Soon we'll be stomping around in moon boots and scraping our car windshields...

eek. wow that's early for snow! glad you got your bulbs in. i've only just started cleaning up the garden and am probably a week away from planting my bulbs. we're expecting a warm, sunny Thanksgiving weekend here with temperatures flirting with the 20s. usually there's a dramatic shift to colder weather right after halloween. now that's scarrryyy!
cheers

It's pictures like that which remind me how extreme your gardening conditions are. You seem to be moving from summer straight into winter! Still, your dog must be happy.

The snow does emphasize your garden layout, playing up the lovely stone walls.
We had a frost last night that turned the tender plants to mush. We were fortunate to have the extended fall that we've had up until now.

Oh my, that was a bit of a shock waking up to snow. Everything looks so pretty with the first snow.

A big "OH NO" from me here in Southern Ontario with 26C. Although, your doggie must be soooo happy - my Saint Agatha used to go "puppy" crazy every year on the day of the first snow fall.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH not the dreaded white stuff. Hyperventaliting remembering the 9 foot drifts of last year. Your garden does look pretty.

Wow...I missed this post last week, and probably the snow is gone for now, but I do love the clean look of the garden and the bones. We're yet to have a real hard frost here, but one of these days it will happen. Possibly tonight, as it's very still and clear outside.

Hi, The sugar coating of snow looks pretty in your garden. I remember your garden when spring arrived and now it is already winter again. How do you feel about that to have such a short growing condition for plants. Your garden looks anytime wonderful.
