I would love to be blogging about plants right now. I am doing not much more than admiring the houseplants at the moment.
When I least expected it, I had one of those rare, very bad complications to a simple medical procedure. Isn't it true that you always imagine the 0.5% of people never will include yourself? I hope to have my normal life back sometime soon, since my family and plants need me! If I look at in a hopeful way, at least it is winter here now, with snow on the ground and no gardening left to do. I even heard a group of snowmobiles roar by, using the skimpy layer of snow as an excuse to get out. As for myself, I will stay strong and not turn to compost any time soon.

Sorry to hear that! Hope that you get good and strong soon and look after yourself - it will give you time to reflect on what you're going to plant in the garden in 2010.
Hope you feel better soon. At least the garden has gone to sleep so no temptation to overdo things there.
This is the perfect time of year to rest and dream of next year's garden. Hope you are feeling better soon!
Sending best wishes your way :)
Sending well wishes through that little bit of snow that you have. Remember each winter day, brings us one day closer to spring.
Hugs.

Thought you'd been quiet! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Sorry to hear of this blip in life's path. Be well soon. We just got back from a working trip to Cuba (church concrete and such) and I had a few days of "the bathroom rush" but seem to be slowing down now. Ha. Pictures of flowers and countryside coming on my blog. Nice to dream of, better to see live.
I'm sorry to read of this. Been checking in but you must be still recuperating. Take care of yourself and come back to us soon.
Have been in the ICU and appreciated the flowers and orchid my friends have sent to me in hospital. I am hoping for a good outcome to this unfortunate series of events eventually.
Hope things are better for you by now. Best wishes,
Aiyana
